A 45th Anniversary Pac-Man Cafe Pop Up Opens For San Diego Comic-Con

Pac-Man is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, and if you’re a fan of the iconic game, you’re definitely going to want to check out an exciting new pop-up that’s heading to San Diego this July. Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. is hosting a fully immersive pop-up café in America’s Finest City, running from July 12 through August 3. This unique experience will be located just steps away from PETCO Park, at 323 Seventh Ave (the former site of City Tacos), offering fans a nostalgic and interactive way to celebrate Pac-Man’s enduring legacy.
The immersive pop-up will feature a variety of themed eats, exciting arcade play, exclusive merchandise, and plenty of retro fun for fans of all ages. The carefully crafted menu — developed with assistance from Insight Editions’ PAC-MAN: The Official Cookbook and showcasing a specialty ramen bowl by Maruchan — includes unique offerings such as MAZEmen noodles, PAC-ked quesadillas, Ghost-themed cake pops and drinks, as well as refreshing shaved ice inspired by PAC-MAN’s iconic Fruits. All of these delicious items are served in limited-edition, collectible packaging. Talk about leveling up your experience!!!

Opening weekend (July 12–13) kicks off with a grand opening celebration that includes exciting meet-and-greets with PAC-MAN and Blinky, along with exclusive giveaways for attendees. Additionally, the first 25 guests each day on select dates (July 12–13, 19–20, 24–27, and August 2–3) will have a special opportunity to take home limited-edition pins, unique merchandise, stylish totes, and enjoy free access to the arcade.
